One Havre de Grace organizations was awarded federal funding, the Maryland congressional delegation announced this week.

The Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps was awarded $5,569.19.

Using funding from the American Rescue Plan, the lawmakers said they would grant $1,201,379 to fire and emergency rescue departments across the Baltimore region.

"This new round of federal funding will provide our first responders with the supplies and equipment they need to keep Marylanders safe," the lawmakers wrote. "We will keep working to secure the federal resources that our fire and rescue departments need to serve our communities."
